Check Rock League is the ultimate high school basketball experience. With Season 8 on its way, the league continues to offer the best player experience with other top level competition and a great social platform for opportunity and success.
Anthony Smith is one of Delaware’s best young players. The freshman point guard plays with a chip on his shoulder and embraces every matchup he encounters. Smith is constantly applying pressure on the defense, attacking downhill looking to capitalize on easy looks at the rim. Streaky shooter with a solid pull-up game and plays with tenacity on the defensive end.
Electric lefty guard Thomas Vaughn has been a recruit on the rise with his explosiveness as a lead guard. The ‘25 guard has spent most of his summer putting post players on posters, and finishing at the rim with acrobatic layups. Vaughn is at his best when he can push the pace in transition and put downhill pressure on the defense. Season 8 may be some of our last glimpses of the volatile guard, as he will be continuing his career at the prominent Phelps School in Malvern, PA.
Jaylin Horsey is an explosive scorer who scores it with ease from any spot on the floor. Fluid jump-shooter who makes shots at an efficient clip as a spot-up shooter and off the bounce. Crafty handle that freezes defenders and keeps them guessing, which allows him to create separation to get his shot off.
2026 guard Stephon Ashley-Wright has been making noise this summer with his budding creativity off the bounce and playmaking prowess. Wright has shown vast improvement in his patience and decision making, as he is set to take on a more significant role this upcoming season for Neumann Goretti. Wright will bring his flare, streaky shot making and competitive energy to Season 8, as he looks to cap off a successful summer.
Rising senior Kevin Rucker has been one of the better wings in the northeast region for years now with his high motor and two-way prowess from the wing. The athletic wing possesses a natural scoring feel for the game, along with some multifaceted scoring. Defensively he guards multiple positions, and uses his length and athleticism to challenge shots at the rim. Rucker has recently obtained an offer from Hampton University.
Combo guard Jalil Bethea is coming off a HUGE summer that has catapulted him into a consensus top-ten player in the country across the board. His added explosiveness and wiry strength, paired with his immeasurable shooting range allowed him to have impressive showings all summer. The six-foot-four guard is one the most highly touted recruits in the country, recently putting out his top-five list of schools featuring Villanova, Miami, Alabama, Kansas and Syracuse.
Jayden Taylor has cemented himself as one of the best emerging prospects in Delaware, holding offers from Rider, Albany and Delaware State. Taylor’s high motor instincts and ability to quickly cover ground is what makes Taylor so effective. Standing at six-foot-eight and possessing an extensive wingspan, paired with his quick leaping ability makes him a reliable vertical threat. His defensive prowess can be credited to his aggressive mentality when acting as a rim protector, and willingness to give multiple efforts.
Luke Bevilacqua is emerging as one of the most popular recruits in the country. The rising junior already holds offers from Iowa, Penn State, and Xavier just to name a few. Bevaliacqua brings a physical, inside scoring threat with a versatile skill set.
His patience, low post footwork and ability to score over either shoulder with soft touch is what makes him special. Capable of working from either side of the block, and also acting as a facilitator out of the post when facing-up upon entry.
Aiden Tobiason has looked very impressive throughout the summer with his scoring, and ability to create plays off the bounce. The lengthy wing is one of Delaware’s most unique players, utilizing his 6 '4 frame and smooth multi-level shooting to be an efficient scorer. Tobiason also uses his length to be disruptive on the defensive end, living in the passing lanes and deterring shots at the rim. Tobiason’s productivity, positional size and intangible value on both ends of the floor is what makes him such a talented player.
Munir Grieg is one of the best rising freshmen in the country, already holding an offer from Villanova. Grieg is effective on the floor with his attacking play-style and aggression at the point of attack. He finishes well around the rim with acrobatic finishes, and possesses the explosiveness to play above the rim if given the proper runway. Grieg already exudes potential as a legitimate two-way prospect with the way he crashes the defensive glass, while giving high energy and attention to detail when tasked with guarding scoring threats on opposing teams.
Jake West has seen his recruitment skyrocket with his shot making ability, high IQ and flare he possesses as a lead guard. West has great positional size with a polished handle and offensive instincts to match. He’s also become a fan favorite within the youth due to him becoming a TikTok sensation and having viral moments with Cam Wilder and Rod Wave Elite. West recently announced his move to George School, where he will be sharing the backcourt with Virginia commit Christian Bliss.
Six-foot-eight high-flying forward James Moore has been electrifying this summer with his stellar play as Team Final’s vertical threat and energy guy, on their way to 15-1 EYBL regular season record. Moore possesses disruptive length and explosiveness that has gifted him the ability to finish emphatic putback dunks and catch lob dunks in transition. Moore currently holds offers from Creighton, Pittsburgh, TCU, UAB and is bringing his talents to Season 8.
