Gabe Valmond

Valmond came to Session III of our Private runs and showed why he belongs. Valmond came into this week looking a lot more comfortable and confident out there on the floor. He made a few shots early on and never looked back, as he continued to fill it up and put on a shooting clinic. Valmond was very efficient shooting off the catch, and also looked comfortable making shots off the bounce. Aside from his volume shooting, Valmond competed defensively and gave extra efforts crashing the glass.

Bones Hyland

Bones has been very consistent playing at a high level at our Private runs. One thing about Hyland that stood out this week, was his different approach to the game and ability to showcase different facets of his all-around arsenal. Hyland was very intentional when picking his spots, exhibiting immense patience when making decisions off the bounce. He came into Session III looking to create for others and show he’s more than a scorer. When Hyland did call his own number, he spent most of his time attacking downhill, scoring in the mid-range and converting some nifty finishes at the rim.

Robert Wright III

Every single week Wright III shows why he’s one of the best players in the country. At session III, Wright III started off deferring to his teammates before looking for his own shot. Once Wright III gets it going, he’s a handful to contain because of all the different ways he can hurt you. He showed why he’s so dynamic in isolation situations, using his strength and quickness to penetrate the lane once he gets defenders’ off balance. Once he got to the lane, Wright III displayed some crafty off-hand finishes at the rim. He continues to show his expertise in pick and roll play, and masterly shot making off the bounce.
