7 Days, 7 Communities is a week-long community initiative created by Lamar Mason, a respected basketball player development trainer, dedicated to positively impacting youth in Wilmington, Delaware.
For seven consecutive days, Lamar Mason will host free basketball skill development training at different community facilities throughout the city, bringing high-level instruction directly into the neighborhoods that need it most.
Using basketball as a tool for youth development by teaching fundamentals, accountability, and life skills that extend beyond the game.
Bringing families, coaches, and local leaders together through basketball, strengthening community bonds and shared investment in our youth.
Providing access to high-quality basketball instruction regardless of background, ensuring every athlete has the opportunity to learn and grow.
Developing self-belief in young athletes by challenging them in supportive environments where effort, progress, and character are celebrated.
To instill discipline, work ethic, and consistency through structured training that mirrors the habits needed for success on and off the court.
Open doors for exposure, mentorship, and continued development by connecting athletes with resources and pathways within the basketball community.
Leave each community better than we found it by inspiring youth, empowering families, and reinforcing basketball as a vehicle for positive change.
